Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how we work, what things cost, and what you own.

How long does a website take to build?
Most business websites go live in two to four weeks. A single-page site can be done in about a week. The biggest variable is how quickly we get your content — photos, service details, and any copy you want included.
Do you only work with South Georgia businesses?
No. We're based in South Georgia and we work with businesses anywhere in the United States. Local clients simply have the option of meeting face-to-face when it makes sense.
Do I own my website?
Yes. You own the domain, the content, and the site itself. We'll register the domain in your name if you don't already have one, and you keep full access.
What about hosting, domains, and SSL?
We handle setup end to end. Every site we launch is served over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate, and we configure hosting so you don't have to manage servers or renewals.
Will my site work on phones?
Every site is designed mobile-first, because that's where most of your customers will find you. We test on real phone, tablet, and desktop sizes before launch.
Can you help my business show up on Google?
We build SEO foundations into every project: clean page titles and descriptions, semantic structure, fast load times, a sitemap, and clear location information. We don't promise specific rankings — nobody honestly can — but we make sure the groundwork is right.
Who will I actually be working with?
Legacy Line Studios is a two-person operation, so you work directly with the people responsible for your website. One of us handles strategy and communication, the other handles design and development. No account managers, no handoffs.
What do you need from me to get started?
A short conversation about your business and your goals, plus any logos, photos, and service details you already have. If you don't have photos or copy, we'll guide you through it.
Can you update the site after it launches?
Yes. You can request changes as needed, or put the site on a monthly maintenance plan that includes updates, backups, and security patches.
